"I agree that the best thing that could happen in Washington is gridlock where nothing happens." I agree. As Mark Twain said: "When Congress is in session, no man's wallet is safe!" "There are 2 major reasons why I will vote for the lesser of two evils." I also have much experience at choosing the 'lesser of two evils'... I've been presented with such choices most of my life. But, there is another 'opportunity' I'll have this year. Since I live in a solid 'Red' State, and there is no way that it's Electoral votes wouldn't go to Bush this year, I am free to actually vote my conscience... since my single vote will not affect the winner-take-all Electoral results from my State in a whit. That permits me the freedom to vote Libertarian, and hopefully send a message for fiscal restraint, balanced budgets, and a smaller and less intrusive federal government.
