I can understand that it might have been difficult for those who advocate a universal type health plan such as Krugman and, apparently yourself, to understand that "both" the drug companies and the public did not support the clinton plan. Fine, I will leave it there.

Not saying the Bush plan is wonderful either. In fact, many of his domestic issues trouble me. But, Krugman's idea is far from what the public will support IMO. I don't know of one major country outside the USA that has a successful national health care plan where one can get prompt medical attention without endless hoops and bureaucratic entanglements. Perhaps you do.

If so, let's tell Hollywood so they can go there after kerry loses this election. <g>
