Do you realize how many self contradictions you have in that post? Let me make it simple for you. The single biggest religious threat is Wahhabism, which in case you have missed, runs rampant in Saudi and Pakistan. Iraq will be a Shia government, no matter what you say, because nearly 2/3 of its population are Shia. Most of the troubles in Iraq have either come from the Sunnis or from Sadr and his ilk, both of whom are anti-Iran. So Iran cannot have been the source of the termoils. If anything, there is an unwritten pact between the admin and Iran whereby Iran does not incite the Shia and US takes it easy on Iran. Witness how the reformers have been defeated in Iran since the invasion (quite contrary to what the Neocons were predicting) and how the anti-Iranian rehtoric has died down compared to a year ago. > And any evidence that Osama is in Iran will only fire that determination ... Ehem...perhaps you did not notice that two days ago a top AQ leader flew from Iran to Saudi to surrender himself. If Bush and Co. had actually deemed it within their power to make Iran a target, that would have been enough evidence for them. God knows there is more evidence against Iran now than there ever was against Saddam. ST
