Why would I want to explain it away? You assume too much. Beyond that, show me what you are talking about. With the parochial schools Im familiar with, there is no great difference in performance. The inner city schools that are having the most difficulty are typically those in the poorest sections of the cities. The students are the poorest, the teachers are the least experienced. I think that's a fair generalization. Have you had any experience whatsoever with an inner city school? Do you know any inner city kids? M2
