Just because Bush is doing the same thing that doesn't make it RIGHT, and he seems to be doing it more, and bigger, and more...

Most republicans spend on defense, and corporate welfare, but they don't expand on the social side. Bush seems to be doing both- but of course with a republican faith based slant, but it's still money. And fwiw I was a little child when LBJ was lifting his dogs by the ears, so I couldn't have raised hell even if I'd wanted to. And I've always been for welfare reform, but I like a CCC/WPA type model (in tandem with private enterprise), because I think it works, and I've seen the incredible product those programs turned out.
