Hi Karen, glad to see you back. We have been posting and discussing this incident at length. The thing that sticks out is that they got on the plane without a problem. Our lack of profiling is going to kill people.

I use DTW frequently and am not too surprised that this many foreigners from hostile areas could all board the same plane.

Getting items through security to the terminal area and onto the plane seems like a challenge. But how much volume would it take of some explosive materials would it take?

No doubt sooner or later planes will be getting blown out of the sky.

It certainly seems there are many other potential high value targets much easier to target than a plane and its target.

14 terrorists willing to die could wreak plenty of terror with firearms and bombs in numerous cities.
