Ted, So when you said "most of us Asians do"[think its a bad thing], you were lying? In its current form, AA is a bad thing for Asians. I don't know of any Asian who thinks AA as it stands now is benefitting them. But I'm sure most of them think it's only because they "suffer" from the "model minority" stereotype. Of course, I think this sort of thinking is bunk. Chris Rock said it best, "Man, blacks would LOVE to have that stereotype! 'Look at Tyrone over there. He looks smart.
