Gave this article a good deal of thought today, Nadine...Thanks for posting it. I can't think that pre 9-11, the A-Q and related, would have conceived they could be a catalyst and that their actions would divide the US even further. However, in the last 3 years, of "festering time" as I tend to think of it, we just have to look around us.... Maybe.... However, I think that IF we are hit one more time, all hll will come, and whoever hit us, will find that we are once again united. What if, having reached the conclusion that they weren’t strong enough to destroy the West, the Islamists discovered that they could play the role of catalysts in the West’s self-destruction?*
