I never said we live in a dictatorship.
So much for that.

You're the one shoving the Sedition act in my face.
I am pointing out that, were your claims about how ill treated you are true, you would be in jail, not on the internet. OTOH, if you go back to the original discussion of the Sedition Act, you will see the point made that were that act still law, 5 years ago it would have been we, not you, rotting in the cells.

hat's correct. Found unconstitutional. But did that stop Ashcroft from putting it forth?
Cut the crap. Ashcroft is hardly the first AG to get his hands slapped by the USSC. Not even nearly. It's a long tradition.

Well that's what the Sedition Act you posted is all about. Can it stick?
The Sedition Act, dear boy, died in 1802. And no one misses it.

All I can say is that all Americans should be able to disagree with their government. In fact much of the people in government disagree with the government. Ever watch CSPAN? Endless debates and disagreements. That is the American way.
Uh, in case you missed it, they still are. On TV, radio, newspapers, the internet, all over. Which blows your whining about the loss of civil liberties right out of the water.

Debate and discussion...if you don't like it then move to Russia
Did you miss a turn? The Soviet Union is gone.

You might like North Korea, though. I hear they have socialized medicine there.
