Well, it's true, you didn't exactly say the U.S. should send:
"exactly 140,000 troops to Afghanistan" - you implied more than 140,000 U.S. troops should be in Afghanistan (the 140,000 that are in Iraq, and the 10,000 that are already there).

"Do you know that Spain has actually increased its troop count? Guess where? Afghanistan. That's where the 140,000 US troops should have been." - Dipy, July 10, 2004

And that's why I asked you, how do you expect that the U.S. will supply 140,000 troops in Afghanistan.

Dipy,
Jeez! didja ever notice how some names fit so well?

I just received an e-mail from a buddy (nickname Peteberet). Retired SF LTC with 30 years service and enough combat awards to make Kerry blush at his five. I believe Pete has over 25 combat awards...makes my dozen+ look puny too. Pete has been teaching HS ROTC in NC for 3 years.

He just resigned from his ROTC job so he will eligible for active duty recall. He wrote he already sent his volunteer letter in. He has important skills on the critical shortage list so likely will go. He is about to start a vacation, a driving trip from NC to CA and back.

He draws 75% of his military pay in monthly retirement benefit. So it ain't for the money. He could make $200,000 as a contractor and still draw that 75%, but he wants to assist younger soldiers.

How many of your left wing experts are reaching out?
How many of them are part of the solution and how many are part of the problem?

Your freedom came and comes at a cost. What was/is your contribution?

I will not complain if you do nothing but sit on your butt and enjoy your American life. But I hate your attempts to belittle men who are willing to preserve your's and my freedoms for our children and grandchildren.

You think you are an expert and you are. You are an expert at pissing and moaning.

Let's talk again when your cajones quit shrinking.
