the charity would be much appreciated in Flint Michigan

his hometown

where he has interviewed the jobless there

where he has asked, pleaded for a shoe factory

what better way to spend his profits than to fund his own dream, his own idea

he will be a hero in Flint!

None of Moore's compensation from 9/11 goes to charity. The deal that Disney cut with the Weinstein brothers for the release of Disney's rights to the movie requires that any money that the brothers would have made in excess of their compensation as Disney employees be given to charity. Payback time for Disney.
