I thought you had proposed this discussion around alcohol abusers who don't smoke pot vs pot smokers who over do it. Now you seem to be referring to light social imbibers. If so you have no debate.

You had made a case for distinguishing the two and coming down hard on drinkers while painting a rosy picture of pot smokers. That is what I was challenging. It appears like you have lost or given up the focus of your argument.

As I stated earlier. Based on their own merits I think the two substances ought to be treated the same in the legal quarter, with alcohol being the most distructive by far.
