For a family of four, that works out to $49.68. What could a family of 4 do with almost $50 in 2 days? Buy a couple of bags of groceries? Fill up the gas tank on the family car? Pay down some of what they owe on their plastic or mortgage. There's a bit of "reality" -- the kind of "reality" that it seems some people are trying pretty damned hard to ignore.
