No amount of money can stop these people from getting through. We have to find, fix, and kill them before they get here. That is what we are doing. This is not debatable between us because our disagreements go so deep. But I'll at least drop this observation. That distinction between offense and defense is something I agree with. However, I disagree that it should all be put on offense. And, second, the bulk of the "offense" was spent not only on something that had nothing to do with 9-11 and serious terrorist danger to the US--Iraq, but actually increased the danger.
