Well as every one is now participating in RE properties "fliping" I assume I DO NOT WANT to know the numbers

In any case I remember very well when office buildings on Madison Avenue were priced at $60 per sq. feet and there were no buyers .... Downtown office buildings were available for $2 to $3 per sq. foot - only pay the taxes ... and assume the loan of $30 per sq. foot .... and loan officer were selling apartments for 1/2 of the purchase price
