The ugliest was the bashing of Chelsea Clinton. Granted she was not a pretty child by any means, but all the more reason not to make fun of her.

Carter's kid got some bashing. I don't think Reagan's got bashed much.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm disappointed that you didn't suggest to Bill, for example, that a nasty link and nasty insinuations about Chelsea disturbed you; or to anyone that the nastiness about Alexandra disturbed you. As I would have done had I seen such a reference by AS to a Republican figure's child. I've taken AS to task before for his disreputable postings.

We do agree that two wrongs don't make a right. Sometimes the second one makes a point, though. And the reactions to the point can be so revealing that they make yet another point.
