Cheney on the other hand was not so careful. He boasted of the Iraq -Al Qaeda connection at every turn.

Are you really still denying an Iraq-al Qaeda connection? I thought we were talking about your insistence that Bush had claimed an Iraq-9/11 connection.

Personally, I was not duped.

There is an al-Qaeda/Iraq connection, and the 911 commission says so. There was not a 911/Iraq connection, though.

In other words, although Saddam and his sons had ties with al Qaeda, he wasn't in on 911 with them.
