Well put, Lizzie ..........

.......... I think the neocon movement in this country is pathetic. Its legitimacy was officially validated with the week-long funeral for Ronald Reagan, the spiritual father of the insanity. I think that even he would be disgusted by the lengths to which his movement have been taken.

These guys are disgusting. They attack free-spending liberals, but if it's done in the name of national defense or, should I say, national offense, it's OK. Their curtailment of civil liberties all in the name of the "war on terror" (whatever the hell that is) is anti-American.

What is this "war on terror," anyway? There's been one serious terrorist attack in this country since Pearl Harbor. Are we on permanent alert? The Republican Party has simply become the Part of Fear and Paranoia. God, I hope we send these idiots packing in November. I just wish Kerry wasn't so comatose and, . . . . really, he buys the war in Iraq to a degree.

>>there should be plenty of fodder there given the right wing's morality stance and its COMPLETE DISCONNECT with today's morality).<<

Wow! That remark speaks volumes about modern America and the conservative struggle to keep it somewhat moral.
What destroyed the Roman Empire?.....Answer: decay from within.

Children need both a healthy natural plus emotional environment in which to mature into parents themselves someday, as well as future world leaders. It's impossible for them to do so when surrounded by drugs, porn & adults who lack moral backbone. That's basically the reason so many responsible Americans would rather align themselves with traditional values rather than with modern social decay.
