I didn't get to that yet, but that isn't an answer. Clinton did turn down invitations, every president does. I don't have the list of invitations or accepted invitations, and it isn't directly relevant to this specific point. When Clinton turned down the invitations does that mean he was not the president of the US as far as that group was concerned.


It certainly sends a message to the group in question that he does not consider them part of his constituency. If the group is a legal one, right or left, that's offensive......coming from the president.
