This post by redfish made my day. He declared that conversing with me is a waste of time. And warned all the posters on the political debate thread to put me on ignore. Why? Because if you say you have proof that someone lied, I will ask you to show how the person intentionally deceived you.... and he seemed to think that was an unreasonable expectation...

"...you have not proven "intent to deceive" and that therefore no lie has been proven."

Every time I think about it I just start snickering.

The "pretending" part that exists on "your" thread is you.

You pretend you are right.

You pretend you are in touch with the facts.

You pretend that you know better than anyone else.

Sadly, you are wrong.

Ask your wife. Likely she DOES know the truth, but I bet she is afraid of you, though she probably pretends otherwise.
