Name an active Iraqi WMD program -- any one will do, or stop making these unfounded claims. Bush hoped WMDs would be found to avoid looking like a poorly informed ideological war monger. At the very least he hoped to find one or more active programs -- but none were found. There was nothing found that justified an invasion -- and as Kay said, Bush should have known this was the case before the invasion. Bush owes an apology to the American people and to the families of each and every soldier who died in this invasion and occupation. That is what it means to be accountable -- and Bush et al should be held accountable.
