BLI does not strike me as a good value at this point. Earnings overall seem to be trailing Y2003, so it all depends on the X-mas business. The PE does not look enticing to me for a turnaround stock, but this is just my opinion after a casual glimpse and you know the stock much better than I do. I think the drug distributors ABC and maybe even CAH could be a good value - the base business (drugs) is growing at double digit rates and the PE are around 12-13. The margin pressure should be compensated with cost savings, or so I hope. Anyways, i upped my entry position in ABC to a full position a few days ago.

BLI KWD BLI - I sold mine last April and May. I just saw other opportuinities, and made a small profit. Retail has taken a hit and I still own ROST, TJX and ANF(sold a few). KWD might be worth a look, if you don't already own some. I've owned it for over a year. finance.yahoo.com BDK. I am happily holding. SLE I am thinking of selling, like Paul did. I am watching and owning BEL and OVTI with apprehension. I think they are both good long term holds and am waiting for the long term to arrive. REITs - They have recovered and are outpacing the market. You need to add maybe 7% to the REIT graph here for dividends. finance.yahoo.com that's it for me. sorry, but no great new picks to report. grommit
