brian, OK, That just reinforces my belief that Peter had nothing to do with the formation of the denomination named the Roman Catholic Church. Their claim that Peter was the first pope, is as expected, a bald faced lie.

I have had many friends, and have no beef with, Catholics that are of the laity, and are Catholic, only because they were brainwashed as children. I do have no respect, and no good words, for the hierarchy of the Catholic denomination based in Vatican City, which is nothing but a castle for dictators.

Jesus said that and He was talking about Himself. I don't know where Peter was when he died but it's very well known that Paul was in Rome when he died.
