So, are we supposed to have amnesia, and forget the anti-war marches in 2001, the editorials in the Nation, Michael Moore's rantings then (as opposed to his revised opinion now). The Left opposed the war, and for basically the same reasons they later opposed the Iraq wore even more strenuously: 1) war is bad 2) war initiated by a Republican administration is double-plus bad 3) if we understand root causes, the terrorists will just forget about their jihad.
