Some of this is the way you view things. When I and the others were trashing Bill Clinton for his inappropriate behavior with women, Whitewater, etc., very few people considered that as anything other than criticism of a person, who happens to be President of the United States. No one is above the law.

But, when anyone is critical of George W Bush, say for example, for not being diligent, for not doing his homework, for not knowing who the President of Pakistan was, then they are accused of being Bush haters, unpatriotic, and un-American.

There is a double standard - in the view of some.
