Thank you. YOu introduced me to a new thread. I like the word MODERATE on it. Terrible story and I concur... We ... totally as Americans do not seem to realize what our killing has done. I don't know how we can every make it right. I don't see us ever winning the hearts, minds and support of the Iraq people and that being said, I do not see how we can win them over. Besides which I posted an article that was written by a professor from Michigan who NOW the State Department is consulting.. too bad it wasn't earlier... on what we have done right and what we have done wrong in Iraq. His back ground is on the various factions within the Iraq population and we we totally did not understand the Fullajahs (ex.sp.) and the depth of their ability to rally the people as they are in a linage of former Fullajahs and one cannot just replace them.. Other things too. If I find it again I will send it to you. The flowers and welcoming card was long ago withdrawn if in fact it ever was there.
