You're weird, too. Having US troops on Iran's borders isn't THE reason for invading Iraq. There was no ONE reason for invading Iraq. Many reasons. All of them added up convinced some, not others, at the time. Some haven't withstood the test of time, some have.

This is normal. If you study the history of wars, there is never ONE reason for any war. If you don't believe me, try talking about the reasons for the Civil War with any Civil War history buff. Put a Union supporter and a Confederacy supporter in the same room, shake well, and stand back.
