Do you know enough about those incidents to be sure they weren't flagrant bigotry? Or if there were other incidents for which there were no fines, perhaps incidents where there was legitimate reason for suspicion? Do you know how this regulation is being enforced? You can take any violation and add up the number of times it was enforced. But you can't evaluate it properly unless you know about the times it wasn't enforced.

I am sure it won't surprise you to find that I think we do.

No, it doesn't surprise me in the least. But I keep hoping that one of these days you will, indeed, surprise me by turning something over a few times before judging. <g>

When Mineta begins flying via commercial air travel he might become a little more serious about the profiling process. I am still trying to understand why GWB appointed this guy in the first place.
