would you have been charged with borrowing or stealing?

I have already acknowledged that an inference of stealing would be forthcoming. I don't discount the risk of doing what I did in either case.

After I had returned it do you think I would have been charged with either borrowing or stealing?

In the remote instance Karen would have been charged with stealing and it went to trial should she elect to be tried by a jury or judge alone?
