"We have to have a little humor once in awhile..."

You have got to be kidding.

My kids make fun of my flaws and foppish behavior all the time. When they do we all have a big belly laugh over it. I some times tease them as well. If they thought for one second that I was hurt by a comment they made, their pain would be a magnification of whatever I felt. When ever any of us take exception to a comment made, we expect and receive an immediate apology whether it was meant to be hurtful or not. We understand that humor involves clever insight and that it is healthy when it is fun for all. We also understand that using clever comments to attack someone personally is NOT humorous, it is hurtful. My youngest is 6 and she understands the difference.

How is it that you enjoy comments and depictions that are aimed at humiliating Ms Rice on the basis of her race? Or, how is it that you condone that conduct by others and excuse it as humor.
