Well she just fell on her face again.

Just because these Entertainers have the microphone doesn't mean people want to hear their political views. They came to hear her sing.


And just because she's a singer does not mean she doesn't have political views. Did she use the proper venue to express her views? I would not consider it appropriate but then I'm not her. In the end, the only person she hurt was herself [if that's what she did].

And btw, I think the owner of the Aladdin acted like a jackass. Clearly, politics is playing a more active role in day to day life. It shows how intensely people are feeling.

And a further aside........I don't think there is any comparison between Ronstadt's behavior and that of Goldberg's. Goldberg was on her own time at a fundraiser that also acted as a roast of Bush and the GOP. While her taste was questionable, she was not a paid performer that nite and simply was exercising her first amendment rights.
