Read an interesting answer to the "Why did he take them" question. Sure there were copies elsewhere of all the stuff he took. But they weren't in the archive anymore. And the archive is where people were going for information for the 911 inquiry.

Considering the accolades about Berger that are
circulating, I think that arrogance is plausible. It
doesn't change the fact that he broke the law(s) more than
once. And if this was Condi Rice, the tin foil hat
conspiracies about the Bush Admin would be vast, dark &
repeated frequently on every mainstream media outlet.

"The poor guy was sputtering and interrupting so much that
Hannity threatened to turn off his mike."<font color=black>

That is a common tactic for the left leaners who appear on
Fox, not just Hannity and Colmes. They frequently threaten
to turn off the mike, but almost never turn it off. And
yes, it makes for unintelligible babble, so the guest from
the right often does not get a fair chance to make their
points.

Sure it happens from the guest on the right, but no where
near as often. In fact, the person from the right often
mentions that they let the other guy have their say & asks
the left leaner to stop interrupting them.
