Such a policy would undermine the presumption of innocence principle.

Since they have not released a interim report, is it your feeling that they are assuming he is innocent. I am wondering why is it taking them over 9 months to investigate this. They have conducted a search of his house. He gave them what he had. He even said he destroyed some hand written notes. And then the archives are still available.

Besides, if there are people who saw him do things he was not supposed to do, and he was told specifically the rules to access those archives and he has violated them, then why the delay in prosecuting him? Is the Bush Administration that stupid they do not know what to do?

And they want to run the country for four more years where there are problems they are required to address which are more complex than this?
