"Heartbreaking." Aren't we used to our young dying daily? No we are not. Not those with a grain of soul that is.
This is not Normandy, or the Chosin Reservoir.
This is not Tet. This is a contrived debacle of a fat cat bunch of cowards leading wonderful children to their slaughter for a failed strategy.
These young patriots are giving the extreme sacrifice for Richard Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld's folly.
This group of power mongers make me so sad.
They willingly let our young men and women die for their failures of leadership.

We have been told by our President that things are better in Iraq today than they were under Saddam, that the Iraqis consider us freeing them from the clutches of Saddam's tyrany. But today, I wonder why they would rejoice and revel at the death of US soldiers in the streets of Baghdad. Did the US military do something wrong? Mr. President, can you tell us why?
