Ted, Why do you think he ran so fast... Obviously to give you yet another reason to criticize the Bush administration. As if he needed to, given that you would have criticized them had they not "ran so fast." By the way, the news got a lot slower since June 28th, which means there's a lot less bad news in Iraq to report. Good news for America, good news for Iraq, bad news for you. ;-) You are truly delusional! First, Bremer ran because he was scared.......he did not want to die in Iraq! The transition was moved up two days because they feared major reprisals on the 30th. Moving it up left important contracts unsigned. The whole transition was done so poorly that it speaks volumes re. conditions over there. FACT: Since the transition on 28 June, more American troops have died than during the whole month of June. There is no good news for America when it comes to Iraq. The news is slower on this thread because Al, JF and I are tired of posting such depressing news. There is no ifs ands or buts about it......I want our troops home NOW! The Iraqi war is a disaster and has turned into a major quagmire. It was a big mistake and executed poorly. We need to learn from our last quagmire and act accordingly. ted
