Questions - since Berger knew he was being investigated, why did he remain as a Kerry advisor? What was he thinking? And, did he tell Kerry? If so, where is Kerry's common sense?

1. Why did he remain as a kerry advisor? Because he wanted the Sec of State job. He and ricky holbrooke at the top of list according to the media insiders.
2. What was he thinking? Sec of State, Sec of State...
3. Of course he told kerry, his actions were impossible to hide once the archivists troops got involved. kerry probably gave him a (flip) "I'll support you on this". (flop) until he told him to "get the hell out of here".
4. Where is kerry's common sense? Oxymoron??

What was he thinking?

"What was I thinking?" That's a popular country song. I guess Berger is singing it now. Arrogance.
