200 jobs move 30 miles and somehow it is an economic boost -- sure it is a boost for this town, but a 200 people are getting the boot in the small town they moved from ..

man, you really need to look at the big picture--GDP increases because of severance pay to the laid-off workers, plus full pay to the new workers. also, the moving vans and other work involved in relocating the facilities adds to GDP. didn't you know the fastest way to raise GDP is to break all the windows? -g-
