most people could care less about the race . it is the small per cent who are following every step. I am originally from Boston area , all friends and relatives are democrat (Like was democrat until i moved from the area i didn't know there was a republican). g

Of course when i go back home ,, never discuss politics!

I do not think the country is split perhaps only those who vote. The press , hollywood , give the impression of more liberal values but i find it hard to believe the average family goes along with it.

Kerry wanting to increase taxes to increase more social programs to me doesn't seem the right approach to keeping the economy moving. I also do not trust kerry , he is a people pleaser imo would say anything to avoid conflict at the time of conversation. I also look at his voting record and i believe we need a strong military and intellegence agency. I feel this will not happen with Kerry.

A good honest post. People look at things differently and that is what makes us unique and interesting, but there are only a few who post dishonestly daily in an attempt to provide false information hoping to grab a vote. They are the slime of society, and they represent their party poorly/
