You've made the point. Because she is a musical artist does not mean she can stuff her political opinions down the throat of her paying customers. She has confused her singing talent with her political know-how. But, she cares less - as evidenced by her continued behavior. Her Christmas CD will sell a lot less copies this year.

one of the things about the entertainment industry is that they are still very strong believers in blackballing those who do not agree with the proper political agenda. There is a reason that you don't hear a bunch of conservative entertainers voicing their opinions. Unless they have reached a critical mass like Arnold or Bruce Willis, it is career suicide to be conservative.

My wife, who is conservative and works at a major studio, does not dare to voice her views. She also has requested that I never voice my views to her work mates.

pretty freakin scary.

certainly they have the right to speak their opinion, just as i have the right to not pay to hear it

They will learn that. Slowly, but surely.
