I agree. As I wrote: The trading programs seem to have the market by the short hairs with these stocks that have smaller followings.

Program trades are both long and short.. short hairs are what men and women usually shave before doing a porno flick. -g-

Program trades rule because most individuals are out of the market.

And it DOES go both ways. Look at this chart of LRCX

It went up off the 1998 low faster then it went down. and it went up off the 2002 low vaster then even the first decline in 2000 from the peak.

UTEK has similar symetry in the ups and downs

It just FEELS like it is worse to you because studies show losses feel 3x worse than gains.
