My post was actually an obscure, tongue in cheek movie reference.

It was an attempt to add a little levity to the exchange.

I do agree with you that we pay too much for insurance and health care. Reform is needed. My family is being dropped from Cobra this month. We go from a plan having vision, dental and health to one with health only, and the premium goes up $200/month.

That is patently false. You are ignorant. Moreover, you should treat health care and its associated costs every bit as important as the roof over your head.

It's a matter of priorities.

And here's a clue for you: An inefficient monolithic system run by the government isn't going to be any cheaper than what you claim to be an inefficient competitive system run by private enterprise.
