But notice the dates of those polls. All are out of date except Rasmussen. And he has Bush regaining the lead by 2 full points despite the fact that he has been behind for most of July.

The VP selection bounce was hardly a ripple.

When the state polls are updated, you will see that the trend toward Bush is in place. Kerry may, just may, get a post-convention bounce. (Even Dukakis managed a 19 point bounce when he reached for the golden ring). But Kerry's bounce, if it happens at all, will be short-lived.

Take it from me, American Spirit. Bush will be re-elected. And it may be of land-slide proportions. I have been around long enough to see how this stuff works out in the real world. Small town America is not about to buy the Kerry/Edwards dream team fluff.

So, don't bet your hard earned money on the outcome or you may lose your home and your auto.
