I dunno.. I can get Fox on the dish -- not that I'm much interested in watching it. Haven't tried looking for any stations from the ME, but I suppose they could be available. I expect you've been misinformed in some way concerning our Canadian broadcasting regulations (CRTC regs). We get all kinds of U.S. programming up here, but mainstream channels have to comply with Canadian content. Networks are carried, but there has to be sufficient Canadian content to qualify. Most manage to do that by doing so many hours of U.S. programming per day, and then including some Canadian content in certain time slots. Believe or not, most Canadians actually LIKE getting to see some Canuck-produced shows like..oh.. This Hour Has 22 Minutes, or the Rick Mercer Monday Night show (you know.. for some of our good ol' Canuck humor). Beats enduring 24-hour-a-day crapola like Survivor, Springer, etc.. from the U.S. But I guess you wouldn't know that about us. Like most from the U.S., you've probably never even visited up here -- maybe had a friend of an uncle who once put his toe in the water on the Canadian side of the St. Lawrence River while on a fishing trip out of Alexandria Bay, NY, eh? Well, Gidday from the Valley. Been nice talking, but I have stuff to do. See ya around, eh?
