Arghhhhh.....now you introduce the "as a matter of normal usage" phrase which was not the original argument. This is just like being with my ex again!

From this morning.......

"If I dump a toxic chemical on top of you and all your land in a war situation I'm using it as a weapon. If I dump the same chemical for agricultural reasons in a non-war situation, it's a defoliant. Therein lies the difference....n'est-ce pas??"

As a matter of "normal usage" it is not a weapon....I stated that right there! I've never stated that it was a weapon and nothing else....sheesh.

And sprayed on CROPS such as beans and determinant tomatoes back in the 60s in the US of A.
