Mike "hate to be a pessimist (spelling) but is this not the first time our folio has been in the red???" Jeezus H Mike we can't be right all the friggin time!! We've beat the markets for over 2 years here and close to 4 on the old thread. This is a buy and hold forum, that means anywhere from 2 to 10 years by the market's definition. We've survived thru over 3 years of a nasty bear (without posting many if any short sales) We still hold most, if not all of the stocks as core positions that we have posted. Yes, we do trade around those core positions (when the core shares become free or have a super low cost base I move them to the grandkids accounts) and move on to something else. I can only hope that people (178 according to the bookmark count) have made money over the past few years....that is my goal, to make as much money, both short term and long term for as many people as possible. If they don't make money then I'm sorry, I've done my best and that is all I can do. I'm not pissed, just sad that we just can't seem to get it across to you what it is that we do here. You are closer to right than you think about the false teeth thing. Getting old is making me old. The dude says that "you will lose teeth within the next 10 years" Hell, alot of things can happen in the next 10 years and the compers are the least of those concerns. LOL Ken
