"I think the crowd was liberal, ... I don't know how a crowd that size in Vegas would be represented by all liberals. The people there probably hoped for a little nastalgia from their romantic youth. They were probably wealthy conservative types. Not the foot loose youth that typified Rhonstadt's audience 40 years ago. Even Rhonstadt made some comments that indicated she didn't really feel at home there. In addition, the reviewers claimed her performance lacked luster. So, when the Moore thing came up some of them flipped. It will be the biggest boon to Rhonstadt in 20 years. She tapped into the mother load that Moore uncovered. Smart girl.
