The lies about Kerry being "weak on defense" are so low-down and phony that McCain had to come to his friend Kerry's defense. Kerry is for a strong smart defense. He doesn't want as many doomsday weapons as Bush but he wants more men in the military and more human intelligence agents in the CIA. The Bushie emphasis was on SDI which my laser physicist friend says does not work and may never work.
