Mephisto, sorry to hear about your husband...hope he is feeling better.
Kerry's congressional voting record looks like a tennis match with yes/no votes batted back & forth on almost every issue. It all started with his service in Vietnam which he negated by protesting the war in order to win an election. That was the first flip-flop & it triggered slew of similar positions for past 20yrs. Major decisions frighten John Kerry, so he straddles everything possible with hope that it will prevent a political backlash. The Pres of USA has to take firm, clear stands without equivocation. That's GW Bush...not John Kerry.
