I, too, have mixed feelings about Israel's tactics.

However, don't worry too much about Israel. If you believe the Holy Bible, Israel shall overcome despite seemingly heavy odds stacked (or will be stacked) against her.

The Israelis (who include non-Jews in Israel) have been doing pretty well so far, thanks to their determination, resourcefulness, good organization, alertness, aggressiveness/aggression and foresight. There is no doubt that their success was also greatly aided by the apparent lack of organization, cooperation and coordination and by general rivalry amongst the various Arab factions. Even as I write, jockeying for power and supremacy is going on amongst them.

Don't overlook one thing though. Distinction should be made between Zionists and ordinary non-militant Jews. The Zionists, imho, are militants with a political agenda. I think it is quite inappropriate to discuss Zionism, Zionists and their political agenda on this thread. So I will leave these topics alone.

Oh, and by the way, John Kerry is of Jewish ancestry, if I am not mistaken. (So is Joe Liebermann, Al Gore's running mate of about four years ago.) It will be interesting to see how Jewish Americans will vote this time around. Hope no one will complain of there being too much of the smell of matzoh in the air come election day.
