Ted, Stop turning the people from 9/11 into martyrs. They were victims of an horrible event, not martyrs. Martyrs are people who willingly volunteer to die for a principle. I am sure not one of the 9/11 victims would want someone to die in their name just because they were victims.

You're right, I should have called them victims instead. But that doesn't change my position, nor am I asking anyone to die in the name of the 9/11 victims. I'm asking for a safer world so that my (future) kids will be less likely to become victims themselves.

And you took your "anyone but Bush" mantra a little too far when you said that William Hung would be an acceptable presidential candidate for Al.

I guess no one really got the William Hung joke. Or maybe you did, but just got sick of the suggestions that the "Anyone But Bush" coalition would be satisfied with having just anyone in the Oval Office.
